Recent US laws have focused attention on ensuring the integrity of accounting and information systems. These laws have raised technical issues as well as the obvious legal and managerial issues. This talk explores technical approaches that may be used to ensure the integrity of computer systems and networks -- and by implication, the data managed and the results produced by these systems.
